Why did you say yes to this campaign? What was your WHY to participate?
I wanted to do something for myself and acknowledge my hard work in the gym
Tell me a little about you and your story:
I turned 50 last November and have been training hard to get in good shape and it was suggested to me to do a photoshoot for myself and thats when I got in contact with Olga as I had been following her on FB and loved her photos!
What do you see when you look in the mirror?
All of us women need building up and I liked the whole idea of the Eternal Grace campaign of having the hair & makeup done before the shoot! I always feel better when thats done!
Describe yourself in 3 words:
Strong, determined and stubborn.
Do you feel like you have changed since turning 50?
Delighted to say that I feel so much stronger and in great shape since turning 50 so very proud of myself
What are the most rewarding things about getting older?
You just want the simple things in life and to have your health.
What has been the best life lesson you have learned along the way?
Regardless of age you can do and achieve anything you want to once you set your mind to it.
What advice would you give to your younger self about caring for yourself?
Keep doing what you’ve been doing and be kind to yourself.
What is your favourite quote?
Life is for living.
What do you love most about your new portraits? Is there something new you discovered about yourself?
I can see my hard work has made me more comfortable and proud of my body at 50 years of age! I was made feel very comfortable and reassured with some of my clothing choices and poses! Proud to have done it!
What was your favourite part of working with me?
Olga was always so calming and reassuring and she brought out the best and natural side of me as a result – I thoroughly enjoyed my few hours with Olga and would highly recommend it x
